At the age 15 I discovered my passion for videography when I was training to become a professional dancer.  I commenced my studies in high school with a desire to perform, for as long as I know dancing allowed me to escape reality and express my melancholy. My first assignment was to create a dance video, I directed and edited my first dance video.  My likeness and fascination for videography grew over time, I wanted to learn more about the world and create from it.

In 2019, I travelled to Spain where I lived and studied for six months. During my journey I I learnt about the cultures and ways of life when travelling to Switzerland, Germany, Ibiza, and Dubai. After 4 months of ballet in Spain, I stopped dancing and began my new path to self-discovery. My family and I travelled around Spain with my camera on my side.

I completed Videography Creative Arts from Darwin High School in 2020 with both final video products making it into the Northern Territory EXIT ARTS Exhibition.

I started freelancing my photography and videography now known as Föxy Films, diving into the film photography rabbit hole, sharing my authentic perspective and views of the world through the lens of my cameras. Collaborating with brands and agencies such as Balistarz, Selective Management, Que Agency, Bamby Model Management, L'Urv activewear, also Other Lover agency, and People's Agency.

In 2021 I worked as a full-time videographers assistant at a graphic design company known as Campaign Edge Sprout, to now currently assisting and learning from renown photographer, Michael Murchie in Queensland from mid 2022. Here I have worked on large commercial projects for Kirkland Gold Mine, Core Lithium mine, EAU union, Glencore, The Taste Festival, Territory Q magazine, and Siztler. Experience in social media promotion for Darwin Water front, and the International Laksa Festival 2019 and 2020.

I learnt a lot in 2021, working and adapting to different environments with alternative people has played a big part. Being consistent and focused on my goals got me to where I am now. In 2022 I commenced my studies in Brisbane at University of Queensland where I am currently studying my passion Film Directing and Photography and then hopefully onto... the world. During my University breaks I travelled to Indonesia immersing myself into a beautiful and friendly foreign culture I was familiar with from my upbringing. Learning, Indulging, and understanding their ways of life in Indonesia, visiting various islands, families, religions, and practises with an open heart and mind. I found myself again.

The most important lesson I've learnt so far in my career as an artist/visual communicator is to be patient and observe, nothing happens over night, life is about the journey not the destination.

My advice to everyone is; find something you love and give it everything you've got. You're given one life, one chance, make the most of it and run with it. Enjoy the ride it's one hell of a journey.  :)
